Tomohito Ishimaru worked 12 years as a staff photographer of a publishing firm that specializes in coverage of overseas traveling and diving. After working as a freelancer in Tokyo for 3 years, he moved to Hawaii in 2014. His work is featured in magazines and advertisements throughout Hawaii and Japan.
日本大学芸術学部写真学科卒。海外旅行やダイビングの専門誌を発行する出版社に12年間勤務ののち独立。フリーランスフォトグラファーとして3年東京で活動後、2014年にハワイに移住。ハワイや日本の出版、広告メディアの撮影をメインに活動中。
